Museum of the Jewellery Quarter For our November 2007 meeting we visited Birmingham's Museum of the Jewellery Quarter. We had a fun tour of the workshops with demonstrations of welding and stamping metal. Some metal stamped with hallmarks including Birmgham's anchor is shown on the right. We then looked at the artefacts in the ship wreck box and drew some pictures (shown below). Shown on the right is the bottom of a plate found at the HMS Victory mooring site. Finally we made some bracelets.
