Glyphs, Ciphers and Enigma: Breaking the Codes of History

Members making and cracking codes

For our December 2008 session we learned about symbols used by ancient civilisations such as runes and hieroglyphs.

We also found out about how codes have been used and deciphered throughout history.

We also had our Christmas party which included a treasure hunt for chocolate coins.

Thanks to Birmingham Archaeology and the other helpers for giving us such a fun end to another enjoyable year of archaeology.
