Welcome to Birmingham's Young Archaeologists Club

The club is aimed at 9-16 year olds with an interest in archaeology. We normally meet on the last Saturday of every month at various sites in and around Birmingham, usually between 10.15 and 12.30. Check our visits page for details of future events.

Younger children are welcome providing they are accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Our members:

  • Receive a quarterly newsletter
  • Visit local archaeological sites, museums & buildings
  • Learn about archaeological techniques
  • Receive information about archaeological and historical events in the local area.

All you have to do to join the club is:

We encourage our members to also join the national Young Archaeologists' Club.
